The Board has invited past recipients of this prestigious scholarship to participate in a Pechu Kucha evening, curated by Marcus Trimble, looking back on their travels, experiences and reports. Sandstocks and Commons: Sydney’s bricks and historic brick buildings
* SOLD OUT *Brickmaking began in Sydney in 1788 and since that time bricks have been one of the basic building blocks of Sydney. The tour will begin with an illustrated lecture exploring the craft and history of brickmaking in Sydney followed by a visit to some outstanding examples of brick buildings within the city.
