Debbie Georgopoulos

Debbie joined the Women's Housing Company in April 2017 and is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the organisation to develop, deliver, expand and continuously improve services. Debbie brings over two decades of public policy and program experience from government and non-government organisations, including senior roles in the NSW Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) and Mission Australia. Whilst at FACS, she held roles responsible for Housing Pathways, Future Directions for Social Housing, and Community Regeneration.

Debbie is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an Executive Master of Public Administration, a Master of Arts (Social Policy) and a Bachelor of Arts (English). She is also a Churchill Fellow, having completed a fellowship on international approaches to managing social housing demand in 2015.
